CARBON HABITAT · UPDATED OCTOBER 31, 2026
Website privacy
This page describes information submitted through the Carbon Habitat website and its linked consultation booking service, operated by Carbon Habitat (formerly Setup My House).
Enquiries and appointments
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, project description and selected priorities. Our BOS business platform stores the request and sends related emails. Booking also collects the chosen service and time, plus a phone number or visit address where required. We use these details to respond, arrange consultations and provide the services you request.
Service providers
The public websites are hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. The local preview runs on the owner’s computer. BOS is hosted on Render. Email delivery and calendar services process information needed to send confirmations and manage appointments; Google Calendar and Google Meet are used for connected appointments. Technical information such as IP addresses, request timing and browser information may be processed to operate the website, prevent abuse and investigate errors. The website’s main fonts are served with the site.
Interactive demos
The phone, tablet and room demonstrations use sample data and simulated controls. They do not connect to your home. The app demo uses browser storage for its demonstration state and display preferences. The public demo does not require a household account.
Your choices
An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Avoid entering passwords, access codes or other sensitive household information into the form. Contact hello@setupmyhouse.com to ask about information held by Carbon Habitat or request a correction or deletion. Records required for an ongoing service or other applicable obligations may need to be retained.
For the separate household app and Nest connection, see the My House app privacy policy. Independently operated services have their own privacy policies.
